One of the key characteristics for ginger is the active constituent gingerol. It can have a positive impact on the metaboslim of the horse. Among other things ginger can enhance the joy of movement.
The percentage of gingerol is approx. 3,2 - 3,5 %.
Start with 2 - 3 g on a daily basis. An increase up to 20 - 30 g daily (Horse, 600 kg body weight) is possible. Adapt accordingly for smaller horses and ponies.
